Pastiera Napoletana


The Pastiera Napoletana is a traditional Easter dessert from Naples, Italy. It has ancient origins, dating back to Roman times when it was made as an offering to the goddess Ceres, the goddess of agriculture and fertility.


500g of cooked wheat
500g of ricotta cheese
300g of sugar
100g of candied orange peel
4 eggs
1 tbsp of orange blossom water
1 tbsp of vanilla extract
Zest of 1 lemon
Zest of 1 orange
